When a person begins a pursuit, be it of anything. At that precise moment, the target which the person wants to pursue looks so inviting as well as achievable because of the obvious reasons that, if the product is not attractive, be it only the external packaging, one will not go for it, also, if one finds that something is unachievable, one will not go for it, thinking it as a mere waste of time, which has become an important resource in today´s busy life, where a person has to juggle just too many things with just 24 hours serving has his hands.
Now, when one has selected the target and is all set to pursue it after doing all kinds of analysis, one comes across the first hurdle. This hurdle being impatience. One feels that one should achieve the target instantly, as he wants instant favorable results. So, to get the above desired output, one starts giving more input than is necessary at this point, resulting in crowding the thought process, in turn resulting in a scenario like sitting inside a tight box and duct taping the lid from outside. What is essential at this stage and at all the stages is out of the box thinking. If one thinks out of the box, one will design a path with time-line, that one has to follow and there being no shortcuts in this path from formation of the idea to the goal achieved.
First hurdle cleared, one completes almost the first 25% of the work. After clearing the first hurdle, one becomes too confident and sticks to the prepared time-line, but eventually, after passage of time, he starts to find the pursuit too slow and boring. This is not what he had expected in the first place, right? So, in maximum number of cases, the pursuit is dropped at this point in the time-line and kept aside among other unfinished projects, but, if the person sticks to this time-line that he has prepared, he clears the first 50% of the pursuit, and goes to the next level.
The next level sees the person lagging behind in all the excitement of the project, and the target starts to seem unachievable. However much hard the person works, the flag of success seems to move farther with every passing node in the time-line. Now , our man comes across a dangerous point in his venture. At this stage, he begins to doubt himself. Starting from his talent to his abilities, he starts to doubt everything that he has put him on the path to success. In fact, he starts to doubt the path itself. He starts falling in a deep dark pit of self-doubt. He again jumps inside the box. But, if he goes ahead with the said path and turns a blind eye towards all the doubts that arise, he clears all the hurdles that he may come across and finally basks in the sweet taste of success. Point Made.

it's what the mind goes through and the heart cannot bear...the impatience...questioning oneself hundreds of times...i agree with you.
